The Motor Vehicle Assistant Store Manager at PLS is responsible for leading the store team to deliver exceptional customer service while achieving operational, sales, and financial goals. This role involves assisting the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a strong customer service culture. The Assistant Manager also takes charge in the absence of the Store Manager, overseeing staff and customer interactions.

Key responsibilities include maintaining exemplary customer service within the store, building relationships with customers, and establishing a strong customer service culture. The Assistant Manager assists the Store Manager in implementing strategies to meet store goals and objectives, recruiting, developing, and motivating store team members, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Additional duties involve analyzing financial statements to maximize sales, marketing within the community to increase market share, resolving customer complaints, managing schedules, cash, and store audits, and maintaining a neat and clean store environment.

Candidates should have a minimum of one year of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant. The role requires the ability and confidence to engage with customers, develop positive relationships, and inspire excellence in a team. Strong communication and presentation skills, high-energy collaborative management experience, and a professional appearance and demeanor are essential. Honesty, integrity, and the ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, are also required. English fluency is mandatory, and being bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
