The Motor Vehicle Assistant Store Manager at PLS is responsible for leading the store's operations to ensure exceptional customer service, achievement of financial goals, and adherence to company policies. This role involves supporting the Store Manager in daily activities and, in their absence, overseeing the entire team. PLS is a prominent retail provider of financial services, operating over 200 centers across 12 states, dedicated to offering convenient and transparent financial products to its customers.

Key responsibilities include maintaining exemplary customer service, building strong customer relationships, and fostering a customer-centric culture within the store. The Assistant Store Manager assists in implementing strategies to meet store objectives, recruits and develops team members, ensures compliance with regulations, and performs duties of a Customer Service Representative when necessary. Additional tasks involve analyzing financial statements, marketing within the community, resolving customer complaints, managing schedules, and maintaining a clean store environment.

Candidates should have at least one year of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurants. The role requires strong customer engagement skills, the ability to build positive relationships, a desire to exceed company initiatives, excellent communication abilities, and a professional demeanor. Flexibility to work various hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential. English fluency is required, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
