Motor Vehicle Shift Supervisor

The Motor Vehicle Shift Supervisor at PLS is responsible for leading store operations to ensure exceptional customer service, achievement of financial goals, and adherence to company policies. This role involves performing duties of a Customer Service Representative while assisting the Assistant Store Manager in daily operations. In the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, the Shift Supervisor directs all team activities.

Key responsibilities include maintaining exemplary customer service, building strong customer relationships, and fostering a customer-centric culture within the store. The Shift Supervisor supports the Assistant Store Manager in implementing strategies to meet store objectives, develops and motivates team members to exceed customer expectations, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Additional duties involve transaction processing, cash handling, coaching team members, reviewing and approving checks within set limits, supporting store marketing efforts, resolving customer complaints, managing schedules, and maintaining a clean store environment.

Candidates should have at least one year of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurants. The role requires strong customer engagement skills, the ability to develop positive relationships, a desire to exceed corporate initiatives, and excellent communication and presentation abilities. A high-energy, collaborative management style, professional appearance, integrity, and flexibility to work various hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, are essential. English fluency is required, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
