National Litigation & Claims Management Attorney

Wilson Elser, a prominent defense litigation law firm with over 1,400 attorneys across 46 offices nationwide, is seeking a National Litigation & Claims Management Attorney for its Seattle office. This role involves representing a major logistics services provider in complex litigation and claims management across multiple jurisdictions. The position offers flexibility, accommodating in-person, remote, or hybrid work arrangements.

The attorney will independently manage a nationwide litigation caseload from inception through resolution, conduct thorough investigations, and develop strategic discovery responses tailored to individual cases. Responsibilities include overseeing a national claims program, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, negotiating settlements, and collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments and offices.

Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school and be admitted to practice in at least one state. A minimum of five years of litigation experience is required, with strong discovery experience being essential. Preferred qualifications include experience handling multi-jurisdictional litigation, a background in transportation and logistics, familiarity with emerging e-commerce or gig economy legal issues, and proficiency with litigation and discovery tools.
