Senior Trial Attorney

Wilson Elser is seeking a Senior Trial Attorney to join its Dallas and Houston offices. The Senior Trial Attorney will independently manage a complex defense litigation caseload from inception through resolution, including trial, mediation, or negotiated settlement. Responsibilities include developing and implementing case strategies, drafting and arguing substantive motions, conducting depositions, managing discovery, and representing clients in various legal proceedings. The role also involves providing strategic legal advice to clients and collaborating with colleagues on complex litigation matters.

Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice in Texas. A minimum of 15 years of experience in insurance defense, premises liability, catastrophic loss, and/or general liability is required. Experience in negligent security cases and trial experience are preferred. Strong analytical skills, superior written and oral communication abilities, and legal project management experience are essential.
