Networking Technical Support Specialist - Fusus
The Networking Technical Support Specialist at Axon is a pivotal role within the Fusus team, dedicated to providing exceptional technical support to customers. Axon is committed to protecting life through innovative public safety technologies, and this position is integral to ensuring the seamless operation of our solutions.
In this role, you will become an expert on the Axon Fusus solution, encompassing all available applications, APIs, and upcoming developments. Your daily responsibilities will include working with various industry-standard Video Management Systems (VMS), IP cameras, and Linux networking tools. Collaborating with the Implementation team, you will assist in the geospatial setup of customer locations, respond to and resolve inbound customer support requests via email and telephone, troubleshoot issues following Axon Fusus escalation policies, and document all work completed within the Axon Fusus CRM support tool. Participation in Axon Fusus-sponsored training and certifications to advance technical skills is also expected.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in information systems and networking, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A solid understanding of enterprise network equipment, including routers, firewalls, and tunnels, along with their configuration and data flow, is required. Experience with security camera systems, VMS, DVR, and NVR solutions is highly desirable. Candidates should have completed or be working toward a college degree in a technical discipline and possess certifications such as Network+, Security+, or Linux+. Passing a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information is mandatory.
