Operations Supervisor - Rochester
The Operations Supervisor at Nabis is responsible for overseeing daily productivity and ensuring smooth operations within the Rochester facility. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role involves monitoring team performance, analyzing operational effectiveness, assigning tasks, and coaching team members to enhance efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to leverage data for decision-making, and natural leadership qualities.
Key responsibilities include leading hourly team members to achieve daily operational and delivery goals through effective communication, feedback, coaching, and delegation. The Operations Supervisor will proactively seek solutions to capacity-related bottlenecks and quality deficiencies by leveraging inputs from both internal and external partners. Additional duties involve supporting operational tasks as needed, such as scheduling product testing events and coordinating product pick-ups, as well as communicating with brand partners regarding scheduling and delivery details. The role also requires producing detailed reports on daily performance versus goals and providing excellent internal and external customer service.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old and have a minimum of two years of experience in the cannabis industry, customer service, and last-mile distribution and logistics. An associate degree or two years of relevant work experience is required. The role demands outstanding communication and people skills, knowledge of manual and systematic warehouse movement, and the physical ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, and twist. Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, have a clean driving record, and be available for on-site work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts.
