Overnight Customer Service Representative Part-time
PLS is seeking a dedicated Overnight Customer Service Representative to join our team at 1838 Nostrand Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11226. As the primary point of contact during overnight hours, you will play a crucial role in delivering superior customer service and educating customers about our financial products and services. This part-time position offers an opportunity to be part of a company committed to convenience, transparency, and customer satisfaction.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include providing outstanding customer service to ensure repeat business, educating customers on our products and services, and ensuring all transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations. You will also be responsible for maintaining a balanced cash drawer, accurately completing all transactions, and using our point-of-sale system to process transactions. Additionally, you will resolve customer complaints or refer them to the Store Manager for resolution and help maintain a neat and clean store environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant. Strong verbal communication skills, the ability to engage with customers, and the capacity to offer products and services based on customer needs are essential. Exceptional attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a professional appearance and demeanor are also required. Candidates must be honest, have integrity, and be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. English fluency is required, and being bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
