Overnight Manager Bilingual Spanish Preferred
The Overnight Manager at PLS is responsible for providing on-call support to Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) during overnight hours, ensuring that assigned stores deliver outstanding customer service and adhere to store procedures. This role plays a crucial part in meeting operating objectives, sales targets, and financial goals. PLS, headquartered in Chicago, operates over 200 financial service centers across 12 states, offering convenient financial products and services to help customers manage their day-to-day financial needs.
Key responsibilities include ensuring all transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations, reviewing and enforcing company policies with CSRs, and facilitating communication between store management and CSRs. The Overnight Manager attends monthly regional meetings to relay necessary information, supports a strong customer service culture, assists in resolving customer complaints, approves checks up to specified limits, conducts video camera audits for security, maintains a clean and organized store environment, prepares reports for Store and District Managers, and manages multiple projects simultaneously.
The ideal candidate has over six months of PLS check cashing experience and at least one year of supervisory experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, banking, retail, or restaurant. Strong verbal and written communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are essential. A professional appearance and demeanor are required, along with the flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. While English fluency is mandatory, bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
