Overnight Manager
The Overnight Manager at PLS is responsible for providing on-call support to Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) during overnight hours, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to store procedures. This role plays a crucial part in meeting operational objectives, sales targets, and financial goals. PLS, a leading retail provider of financial services, operates over 200 financial service centers across 12 states, offering convenient and transparent financial products to help customers manage their daily financial needs.
Key responsibilities include ensuring all transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations, enforcing company policies among CSRs, and facilitating communication between store management and staff. The Overnight Manager supports a strong customer service culture by assisting in resolving customer complaints, approving checks within specified limits, conducting video camera audits for security, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Additionally, the role involves preparing reports for Store and District Managers and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Candidates should have at least six months of PLS check cashing experience and prior customer service experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, banking, retail, or restaurants. A minimum of one year of supervisory experience in similar industries is preferred. Essential skills include the ability to develop positive relationships with customers and staff, superior verbal and written communication, exceptional attention to detail, multitasking capabilities, and a strong desire to exceed goals and inspire team excellence. Professional appearance and demeanor, along with the flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays, are required. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
