Overnight Shift Manager
The Overnight Shift Manager at Nabis is responsible for overseeing and strategizing the daily fulfillment operations during the overnight shift at the Visalia, California location. Reporting to the General Manager, this role requires a comprehensive understanding of Nabis's central warehouse processes and the nuances of enterprise client relationships as they pertain to fulfillment. The Shift Manager will lead a team of over 30 associates, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining service level agreements (SLAs).
Key responsibilities include ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of all orders, tracking and managing daily volume to prevent SLA disruptions, and monitoring team performance. The Shift Manager will provide feedback and training to associates, oversee adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), forecast and monitor staffing needs, and facilitate communication with other Nabis departments and external partners. Collaboration with departments such as Central Operations and People is essential to ensure productive cross-department communication.
The role requires high empathy, excellent communication skills, and an interest in working directly with a diverse team. Candidates should possess superior time management and organizational abilities, adaptability to navigate the demands of a high-growth startup, and a willingness to perform various tasks, including manual labor. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting, along with 2 years of experience managing a team of at least 30 employees, is required. Familiarity with MS Office and business software (e.g., ERP, CRM) is also necessary.
Compensation for this position ranges from $75,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience.
