Platform Manager
The Platform Manager at Celonis is a senior technical and strategic role, serving as the primary point of accountability for the structural integrity and business value delivery of the Celonis platform within customer enterprises. This position bridges deep data engineering expertise with C-level strategic objectives, guiding customers through their enterprise transformation journeys.
Key responsibilities include defining the overall architecture, data, and cloud strategy for Celonis within the customer's IT landscape, ensuring scalability, performance, and security across global deployments. The role also involves establishing architectural principles and standards, leading Architecture Review Boards, and driving enterprise modernization by leveraging emergent technologies such as Agentic AI and Process Intelligence Graph. Additionally, the Platform Manager designs complex data pipelines and integration patterns to unify disparate systems into a cohesive digital twin of the business.
The ideal candidate possesses over 12 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or a CTO-level role at a major software vendor. Mastery of frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman is essential, along with hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, and Databricks. A deep understanding of SaaS ecosystems, including SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, and ServiceNow, as well as legacy on-premise architectures, is required. Proficiency in German is strongly preferred, and expertise in the retail industry is advantageous.
