As a Portfolio Product Manager, you will join Beacon's Acceleration team—a cross-functional group of Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, GTM experts, and Data Scientists. This team collaborates closely with portfolio companies to solve problems, create and implement playbooks, and build new features and products. In this role, you will own product outcomes for 3-4 portfolio companies, driving quarterly planning, roadmap development, prioritization, and sprint execution while building each team's capabilities.

Key responsibilities include leading quarterly and annual planning sessions to help teams set product visions and translate them into achievable goals. You will build and maintain product roadmaps that balance customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints. Guiding sprint planning and execution to improve team velocity and predictability over time is essential. Developing prioritization frameworks to assist CEOs and teams in making better product decisions, setting up customer feedback systems to turn qualitative inputs into actionable roadmap decisions, and helping teams collect and analyze product usage data are also part of the role. Additionally, you will review feature specifications for clarity, completeness, and strategic fit, coordinate feature launches across engineering, sales, marketing, and support teams, coach team members to think like product managers, and configure and optimize project management tools.

We are looking for candidates with 4+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS. Strong product fundamentals, including roadmapping, sprint planning, spec writing, and prioritization frameworks, are required. Strong customer discovery skills and the ability to identify high-impact opportunities are essential. Comfort with managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence founders and executives are important. An entrepreneurial mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility are also desired.
