The Principal Client Value Partner at Celonis serves as the strategic and technical lead for one of the company's largest enterprise accounts. This role combines deep technical expertise in data pipelines, Generative AI architecture, and enterprise systems with strategic advisory capabilities to translate complex concepts into measurable business value for C-suite executives.

Key responsibilities include acting as a trusted advisor to CIOs and CFOs, translating complex technical designs into strategic business outcomes and ROI. The role involves advising on high-performance, near real-time data ingestion strategies, such as streaming APIs, Kafka, and micro-batching, to ensure the Celonis platform has the right data at the right time. Additionally, the position requires architecting secure, enterprise-grade AI solutions, championing the use of the Celonis Process Knowledge Graph to ground AI via Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and ensuring strict data governance, sanitization, and security. The Principal Client Value Partner will also mobilize and direct a multidisciplinary team of Applied AI engineers and Data Scientists, acting as the bridge between the customer and Celonis Product/Engineering to clear complex technical blockers.

Candidates should have principal-level experience in a client-facing, technical role, such as Solutions Architecture, Field CTO, Technical Account Management, or technically-savvy Engagement or Client Success roles. A strong conceptual and architectural understanding of modern data pipelines, including standard batch loads versus near real-time streaming (Kafka, APIs), is essential. The role requires a solid grasp of how to securely deploy Generative AI in the enterprise, understanding concepts like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), private model hosting (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock), and data masking. A conceptual understanding of the modern enterprise stack, with previous hands-on experience with SAP being advantageous, is also required. Exceptional ability to untangle complex technical challenges and present clear, actionable roadmaps to non-technical executives is crucial. Strong proficiency in German is required, and deep domain expertise in the Retail industry is preferred.
