The Principal Product Designer will define and drive long-term product vision and design strategy across TIDAL's key product areas. Responsibilities include leading complex design initiatives from concept to launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams to influence business strategy, and establishing design systems and standards that ensure cohesive user experiences. Additionally, the role involves pioneering AI-driven design approaches to enhance team capabilities and mentoring designers to elevate overall craft.
Candidates should have at least 8 years of product design experience, showcasing high craft and systems thinking. Proficiency in graphic design, particularly in building and extending brand cohesion across various platforms, is essential. Experience in developing long-term product visions that inform roadmaps, shipping impactful work autonomously, and defining design systems at scale is required. Strong collaboration skills with leadership, fluency in AI and emerging technologies, and a passion for music and the creative economy are also important.
