Principal Designer, TIDAL

The Principal Designer will define and drive long-term product vision and design strategy across TIDAL's key product areas. Responsibilities include leading complex design initiatives from concept to launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams to influence business strategy, and establishing design systems and standards that ensure cohesive user experiences. Additionally, the role involves pioneering AI-driven design approaches and mentoring designers through feedback and knowledge sharing.
Candidates should have over 8 years of Product Design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating high craft and systems thinking. Graphic design skills are essential, particularly in building and extending brand cohesion across various channels. Experience in developing long-term product visions that inform roadmaps across multiple products is required. The ideal candidate will also have expertise in defining design systems and standards, fluency with AI and new technologies, and a passion for music and the creative economy.
Compensation for this role ranges from $251,600 to $377,400 annually, depending on experience and location.
