Principal Enterprise Architect
Celonis, a global leader in Process Intelligence technology, is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with technical teams at our prospects and customers to design solution architectures that integrate our products, ensuring they meet performance, data security, and business requirements. You will work closely with our Sales and Value Engineering teams, as well as Product Management, Data Operations, and Information Security teams, to support engagements with new prospects and existing customers looking to expand their footprint.
As a Principal Enterprise Architect, you will lead and define the overall architecture, data, and cloud strategy for our largest client accounts. Your responsibilities include engaging with C-level executives to align their strategic objectives with the Celonis technical strategy, assessing the IT landscape maturity of our customer base, and participating in both pre-sales and post-sales phases by engaging with customer architecture and security teams. Additionally, you will coach and guide Celonis consulting teams and ecosystem partners on technical implementation issues such as architecture, integration, performance, and scalability.
The ideal candidate will have 10 to 15 years of relevant experience, such as a Software Vendor Architect, CTO at a top consulting firm, or Enterprise Architect at a customer. A strong background in data architecture, integration patterns, and development in data-related languages like SQL and Python is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to comfortably switch from explaining an architecture diagram to coding or assembling a demo of the architecture. A solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, SaaS solutions (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Dynamics CRM, ServiceNow), cybersecurity fundamentals, API ecosystems, and legacy on-premise enterprise architectures is also necessary. A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
Celonis offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including equity (restricted stock units), life insurance, generous time off, and parental leave from day one. We invest in your personal growth and skill development through clear career paths, internal mobility opportunities, a dedicated learning platform, and mentorship programs. Our commitment to physical and mental well-being is demonstrated through subsidized gym memberships, access to counseling, and virtual events on well-being topics.
