Principal Enterprise Architect
The Principal Enterprise Architect at Celonis plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing solution architectures for both prospective and existing clients. This position is integral to the sales team, ensuring that Celonis' products are seamlessly integrated into client environments to meet performance, data security, and business requirements. Key responsibilities include leading the development of comprehensive architecture, data, and cloud strategies for major client accounts. The role involves engaging with C-level executives to align their strategic objectives with Celonis' technical solutions. Additionally, the architect acts as a liaison between Celonis' product and engineering teams and client teams, ensuring optimal technical services. The position also entails assessing clients' IT landscape maturity, participating in both pre-sales and post-sales phases, and guiding consulting teams and partners on technical implementation issues.
Candidates should possess 15 to 25 years of relevant experience, such as roles as a software vendor architect, CTO in top consulting firms, or enterprise architect at a client organization. A strong background in data architecture, integration patterns, and proficiency in data-related languages like SQL and Python is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to present complex information creatively, are required. The role demands a solid technical foundation with a focus on system integrations, data operations, and automation capabilities. A deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, SaaS solutions (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Dynamics CRM, ServiceNow), cybersecurity fundamentals, API ecosystems, and legacy on-premise enterprise architectures is also necessary. Fluency in English is mandatory, with additional languages such as Spanish, French, or Italian being advantageous. A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related Information Technology field is preferred.
