Principal Enterprise Architect
Celonis is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to lead transformative solution architectures for our clients. This pivotal role involves collaborating with technical teams to design architectures that drive enterprise modernization, aligning with Celonis' mission to integrate AI and data intelligence into business processes.
Key responsibilities include defining overall architecture, data, and cloud strategies for major client accounts, engaging with C-level executives to align their strategic objectives with Celonis' technical capabilities, and driving innovation by identifying solutions that leverage emergent technologies such as Agentic AI. The role also involves bridging product and engineering teams with client teams to deliver optimal technical services, assessing the IT landscape maturity of clients, and participating in both pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
The ideal candidate will have 10 to 15 years of relevant experience, such as serving as a Software Vendor Architect, CTO at a top consulting firm, or Enterprise Architect at a client organization. A strong background in data architecture, integration patterns, and proficiency in data-related languages like SQL and Python is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to present complex technical concepts to C-level executives. A solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, SaaS solutions, cybersecurity fundamentals, API ecosystems, and legacy on-premise enterprise architectures is also necessary. A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
Celonis offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $173,000 to $233,000 USD for the New York location. The total compensation package includes base salary, bonus or commission, equity, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, life insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
