Principal, Equity Compensation
Axon is seeking an experienced Principal of Equity Compensation to oversee the administration of the company's equity plans, including the innovative eXponential Stock Plan (XSP). This role is integral to Axon's mission to Protect Life, working within a dynamic team dedicated to advancing public safety technologies.
The Principal will manage all aspects of equity plan administration, such as reviewing grants, exercises, releases, and cancellations, conducting monthly reconciliations, and monitoring share utilization. Collaboration with Accounting, Finance, Payroll, People Operations, Tax, and Legal teams is essential to ensure compliance and efficiency. Additionally, the role involves partnering on the evolution of the XSP, implementing best practices, automating processes, and coordinating stock compensation reporting for both domestic and international employees.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, along with over seven years of experience in stock administration within a public company. Proficiency in Excel, a comprehensive understanding of various equity awards and programs, and knowledge of accounting standards related to equity compensation are required. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are also essential.
