Principal NPI Program Manager
As a Principal NPI Program Manager at Axon, you will lead the operational processes that transition products from concept to market. Collaborating closely with teams across Product, Finance, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, Operations, Legal, and IT, you will ensure seamless product introductions that align with Axon's mission to protect life through innovative devices and cloud software solutions.
Your primary responsibilities include managing the end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) workflow for all SKU types—hardware, software, and services—from initial submission to market readiness. This involves overseeing the NPI intake process, coordinating cross-functional reviews, and ensuring products are ready for quoting and shipping. Additionally, you will drive the creation and modification of product bundles, enforce governance frameworks for SKU management, and set clear priorities during dynamic periods such as pricing weeks and product launches.
To excel in this role, you should have over eight years of experience in Product Operations, NPI, or Commercial Operations within technology or multi-product companies. Demonstrated ownership of product introduction processes, proven cross-functional leadership skills, and fluency in enterprise systems like ServiceNow, D365, and Salesforce are essential. Experience in high-growth environments, a strong understanding of product packaging and pricing, and proficiency in data-driven decision-making and automation tools are also required.
Axon offers a competitive salary range of $193,200 to $309,120, along with benefits such as a 401(k) with employer match, discretionary paid time off, paid parental leave, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, fitness programs, and emotional and mental wellness support. The company fosters a collaborative and fast-paced work environment, emphasizing meaningful work and continuous growth opportunities.
Joining Axon means becoming part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to protecting life.
