Principal NPI Program Manager
As a Principal NPI Program Manager at Axon, you will lead the operational processes that transition products from concept to commercialization. Collaborating closely with teams across Product, Finance, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, Operations, Legal, and IT, you will ensure that new product introductions are executed efficiently and align with Axon's mission to protect life through innovative devices and cloud software solutions.
Your primary responsibilities will include managing the end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) workflow for all SKU types—hardware, software, and services—from initial submission to market readiness. This involves overseeing the NPI intake process, coordinating cross-functional review cycles, and ensuring products are ready to quote and ship. Additionally, you will drive the creation and modification of product bundles, enforce governance frameworks for SKU management, and set clear priorities during dynamic periods such as pricing weeks and product launches.
To excel in this role, you should have over eight years of experience in Product Operations, NPI, or Commercial Operations within a technology or multi-product company. Demonstrated ownership of product introduction processes, strong cross-functional leadership skills, and proficiency with enterprise systems like ServiceNow, D365, and Salesforce are essential. Experience in high-growth environments, a solid understanding of product packaging and pricing, and the ability to leverage data for decision-making are also critical.
