The Principal People Strategy & Program Manager at Chime is a pivotal role within the People Team, responsible for executing high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that align with the company's strategic priorities. Reporting to the Director, Head of People Strategy & Programs, this position bridges strategy and operations, transforming vision into actionable plans through structured planning, disciplined execution, and analytical insight. The role demands strong strategic thinking, adaptability to evolving company culture, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a matrixed organization.

Key responsibilities include leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that support the People Team's strategic goals, identifying risks and dependencies, and translating strategy into clear, actionable work. The role involves partnering closely with leaders to define problems, structure initiatives, and conduct both quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform decisions. Additionally, the manager will own end-to-end planning and delivery of strategic programs, establish governance routines, monitor progress, and ensure accountability across workstreams.

The ideal candidate possesses 6–10 years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or program management within fast-paced, matrixed environments. Essential skills include excellent time management, the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously, exceptional written and verbal communication skills tailored to various audiences, and the capacity to build strong partnerships across teams. Strategic thinking, comfort with ambiguity, and a proven track record of independently managing complex, cross-functional projects from concept to completion are also critical.

The base salary for this role ranges from $150,000 to $208,000 annually, with full-time employees also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and comprehensive benefits.
