Principal Product Designer

As a Principal Product Designer at Figure, you will lead the design of core products from concept to production, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will balance innovative design with technical feasibility to deliver solutions that meet both business objectives and customer needs.

Your primary responsibilities will include driving product design across multiple high-impact initiatives, partnering with Product and Engineering teams to shape product strategy, and translating complex requirements into simple, cohesive experiences. You will also be responsible for evolving and scaling Figure’s design system, maintaining consistency and innovation across products, and mentoring other designers to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in product design, with a strong track record of leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects. Proficiency in modern design tools and systems thinking is essential, along with exceptional communication skills to align diverse perspectives and influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience in fintech, crypto, or other data-intensive domains is a plus.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from $158,400 to $237,600 per year, a 25% annual bonus target paid quarterly, and company equity in the form of RSUs. Actual compensation may vary based on individual experience, location, and business needs.
