Principal Product Manager, Enterprise
As a Principal Product Manager at Axon, you will be a key member of the team responsible for developing innovative products aimed at solving critical operational challenges in industries such as healthcare, retail, and logistics. Your role involves leveraging vision-based AI, cloud applications, and connected sensors to create solutions that address these challenges effectively. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with enterprise customers who are early adopters of Axon's AI technologies, helping to develop and validate new product concepts that have the potential to evolve into significant product lines.
In this role, you will be expected to rapidly iterate on product ideas, employing a fast-paced, experimental approach to identify and validate new concepts with real-world commercial feedback. Building deep relationships with enterprise customers is essential, as understanding their constraints and significant problems will enable you to develop a roadmap that addresses their needs while contributing to Axon's business growth. Demonstrating leadership and vision across all business functions, you will influence various departments, including engineering, manufacturing, and sales, to ensure alignment and successful product development.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software or Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related analytical field. A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in leading software product organizations is required, with at least 2 years in a product management leadership role. Experience as a founder, combined with tenure at mature technology companies, is highly valued. Additionally, candidates should have over 6 years of experience in industries such as healthcare, retail, or logistics, and more than 3 years of experience working with large enterprise customers. The role requires the ability to travel 30-50% of the year to engage directly with customers, participate in product trials, and gain firsthand insights.
Axon offers a competitive compensation package, including base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role ranges from $162,000 to $259,200, depending on various factors such as level, function, experience, and geographic market.
