Echodyne is seeking a Principal Systems Integration and Test Engineer to lead the system-level integration, testing, and verification of advanced radar products. This role is ideal for a systems engineer with a strong software orientation who thrives at the intersection of embedded software, hardware, and real-world system performance. The successful candidate will be the technical authority ensuring radar systems meet performance, reliability, and customer requirements across development, qualification, and production.

Key responsibilities include serving as the technical lead for system integration, testing, and verification of radar products, encompassing system bring-up, debugging, and performance evaluation. The role involves defining and owning the system-level verification strategy, ensuring requirements coverage, execution traceability, and comprehensive verification reporting. Additionally, the engineer will architect scalable test frameworks, automation, and tooling to enable repeatable, verification-first system testing, while identifying integration risks early and driving mitigation strategies. Support for regulatory and compliance testing is also a critical aspect of the position.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong systems mindset with hands-on experience in embedded Linux systems with digital signal processing and high-speed networking. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PERL, and experience with test automation and data analysis tools like MATLAB are essential. The role requires expertise in debugging at hardware and software boundaries using tools like GDB and Wireshark. Experience leading system-level integration across hardware and software, defining verification strategies and test architectures for production systems, and leveraging modern developer productivity tools is highly valued. Exemplary technical communication skills demonstrated through internal and external customer engagements are also required.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $164,594 to $246,788 annually. Echodyne provides a comprehensive benefits package, including fully-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance premiums, flexible PTO for exempt employees, a 401(k) match, and company-paid life insurance. Additional perks include RSUs (Restricted Stock Units), mental health coverage, travel assistance insurance, pet insurance, and commuter benefits. The company fosters a collaborative and fast-paced work environment, offering opportunities for professional growth and development.
