Print Product Stewardship Manager
The Print Product Stewardship Manager at Canva plays a pivotal role within the Print ESG team, focusing on ensuring the safety, compliance, and sustainability of Canva's Print products. This position is integral to maintaining high social and environmental standards across the supply chain, aligning with Canva's mission to set a new benchmark for sustainability in the Print-on-Demand industry.
Key responsibilities include designing and scaling systems to manage product compliance data across global regulatory frameworks, building efficient supplier workflows for testing and certification documentation, and translating complex regulatory requirements into automated tools integrated into supplier and internal processes. The role also involves partnering cross-functionally to address compliance risks, tracking emerging regulations affecting Print-on-Demand materials, and leading initiatives to enhance material sustainability metrics such as circularity, recyclability, and carbon footprint.
Candidates should possess 2–5 years of experience in product compliance, materials, sustainability, supply chain, quality, or related fields within consumer products or manufacturing. A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Materials Science, Product Design, Supply Chain, or equivalent hands-on experience is required. Proficiency in working with suppliers on testing and compliance workflows, a solid understanding of product and material compliance, and familiarity with sustainability concepts are essential. Strong data analysis skills, experience with compliance platforms or traceability systems, clear communication abilities, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach are also important.
