Procurement Manager Operations
As a Procurement Manager Operations at AirTrunk's headquarters in North Sydney, you will report to the Portfolio Category Manager – Operations. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams and leadership across the Asia Pacific region to develop procurement strategies that ensure efficient, reliable, and cost-effective facility operations. Your contributions will support AirTrunk's rapid growth and evolving operational needs.
Your primary responsibilities will include managing end-to-end procurement activities for operational projects, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of goods and services. This involves developing and overseeing tender processes, leading contract negotiations and administration, and managing a portfolio of strategic suppliers across the APAC region. Additionally, you will conduct market research to identify cost drivers, risks, trends, and opportunities, and ensure all procurement activities comply with local laws and AirTrunk's governance policies.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing and executing procurement strategies, including high-value and complex contract negotiations. A strong background in delivering operational procurement outcomes in mission-critical environments such as data centers, utilities, infrastructure, or facilities management is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at mid to senior levels, and strong time management skills are also required. The role demands resilience, proactivity, agility, and a hands-on mindset with strong attention to detail.
