Procurement (Supervisor - Manager Level)

The company is seeking a Procurement Supervisor or Manager to lead its procurement team, ensuring efficient sourcing and acquisition of goods and services essential to its operations.
The role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with Cermati's business objectives. Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and competitive pricing. The position also requires negotiating and managing contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, and implementing strategies to optimize procurement spend. Additionally, the role encompasses assessing and mitigating procurement risks, evaluating supplier performance through key performance indicators, overseeing the procurement process from requisition to payment, and leading a team of procurement professionals by providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in procurement. A strong understanding of supply chain principles, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management, is essential. Broad knowledge of products and services commonly used in the financial and/or information technology sector is preferred. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing effectively are also required.
