Product Designer

As a Product Designer at SmartRecruiters, you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex problems into clear, user-centered experiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance our AI-powered hiring platform. This position offers an opportunity to grow your design expertise within a dynamic and innovative team environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include contributing as a core designer in one to two product groups, developing close partnerships with product and engineering teams, and rapidly prototyping designs for validation. You will iterate based on peer and user feedback, conduct user research with guidance, and actively participate in design critiques to clearly communicate design rationale and trade-offs.

We are seeking candidates with over three years of experience in designing digital products for web and/or mobile platforms. A strong portfolio demonstrating interaction and visual design skills is essential. Experience in end-to-end design work, familiarity with user research methods, and the ability to consider various user scenarios beyond the happy path are highly valued. Clear written and verbal communication skills, along with comfort in a fast-paced, iterative product development environment, are also important.
