Senior AI Engineer
SmartRecruiters is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join our Chat Group, focusing on developing advanced conversational systems for the recruiting industry. As part of our global team, you'll contribute to creating AI-driven solutions that enhance the efficiency of hiring teams and provide personalized experiences for users. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment alongside professionals from Germany, Poland, the UK, and the US.
In this position, you will architect and build agentic workflows that integrate large language models, reasoning components, and data pipelines to develop adaptive, goal-oriented conversational systems. Your responsibilities will include leading the design and development of machine learning and natural language processing products from conception to deployment, experimenting with new approaches for autonomous system design, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to implement intelligent agents into real-world recruiting workflows.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, NLP, or a related technical field, along with over five years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning systems in production environments. Proficiency in NLP techniques, fine-tuning large language models, and model evaluation is essential. Strong skills in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, advanced Python programming, and a solid understanding of software engineering principles are required. Experience with agentic workflows, chatbots, or multi-agent systems is highly desirable.
