Product Designer
SmartRecruiters is seeking a Product Designer to join our dynamic team dedicated to transforming hiring processes for leading enterprises worldwide. As a Product Designer, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to deliver high-quality, user-centered solutions that enhance our AI-powered hiring platform. In this position, you will be responsible for translating complex problems into clear, thoughtful user experiences. Your day-to-day tasks will include rapidly prototyping designs for validation, conducting user research to inform design decisions, and actively participating in design critiques to communicate rationale and trade-offs effectively. You will also own design execution for projects from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment with product and engineering teams.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience designing digital products for web and/or mobile platforms, with a portfolio demonstrating strong interaction and visual design skills. Experience in end-to-end design work, familiarity with user research methods, and the ability to consider various user scenarios beyond the happy path are essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative product development environment, are also required.
