Product Manager, Data Platform
Beacon Software is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to lead the development and execution of our internal data platform strategy. This pivotal role involves unifying the technology stacks of our diverse portfolio companies into a cohesive data infrastructure, enabling efficient data integration and management across the organization. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with platform engineering and integration teams to design and implement scalable solutions that support our rapid acquisition and growth objectives.
Key responsibilities include defining and driving the roadmap for integrating various data sources, prioritizing the development of connectors and integrations, and ensuring a maintainable architecture that aligns with business goals. The Product Manager will also design agentic workflows that allow stakeholders to query and act on data using natural language, and develop AI-powered products to enhance platform capabilities. Additionally, the role involves building tools to support business development and M&A activities, such as maintaining up-to-date data rooms and tracking acquisition metrics.
The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of product management experience, particularly in data platforms, internal tools, or developer-facing products. A strong technical background is essential, with the ability to engage in architecture discussions and understand complex data systems. Experience in high-growth or multi-product environments, as well as familiarity with AI tools and large language models, is highly desirable. Excellent cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to manage complex product roadmaps are crucial for success in this role.
