Product Manager, Data Platform
Chime is seeking a Data Platform Product Manager to enhance the company's data infrastructure and insights capabilities. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, analytics, and cross-functional teams to develop scalable data products that improve data accessibility and trust. The position is based in San Francisco, with in-office work required Monday through Thursday.
The Product Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for data foundations and insights that support Chime's core products. Key duties include partnering with data engineering and analytics teams to build self-serve data platforms and tools, embedding within cross-functional squads to translate stakeholder needs into reusable data products, and enhancing time-to-insight for various business and compliance use cases. Ensuring the delivery of reliable and well-documented data products is also a critical aspect of the role.
Candidates should have experience in product management, particularly with platform, data, or analytics products within complex organizations. Preferred qualifications include exposure to fintech or highly regulated environments, collaboration with data engineering teams on data models and pipelines, and the ability to operate effectively within cross-functional teams. Strong communication skills and the capacity to translate ambiguous stakeholder questions into scalable product solutions are essential.
The base salary for this position ranges from $207,000 to $244,000, with potential for higher compensation based on location, skills, and experience.
