Professional Services Manager II, ALPR
Axon is seeking a Professional Services Manager II to support the deployment of advanced License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology for public safety and government agencies. This role involves hands-on fieldwork, coordination with internal teams, and interaction with external partners to ensure high-quality installations that enhance community safety.
Key responsibilities include supporting LPR deployments through installation, power readiness, hardware setup, and field testing. The role requires applying knowledge of 110VAC and 12VDC power systems for electrical preparation and troubleshooting, coordinating logistics between internal teams, contractors, and public safety agencies, and providing on-site support during installations to ensure compliance with safety and technical guidelines.
Candidates should have 2–4 years of experience in field operations, systems installation, or deployment support, preferably in public safety, telecom, utilities, or infrastructure sectors. Familiarity with electrical systems (110VAC/12VDC) and mechanical installation best practices is essential. Strong communication and organizational skills are required, along with proficiency in field operations and project tracking tools such as Smartsheet, Salesforce, and Slack. An associate's or bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience is preferred. A valid driver's license is required, and candidates must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and work in elevated environments.
