Professional Services Manager II - Axon Air
As a Professional Services Manager II for Axon Air, you will lead the deployment of Axon's drone technology solutions for law enforcement, enterprise, and public safety agencies. This role requires advanced technical proficiency, deep program management expertise, and the ability to independently manage complex deployments. You will serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, ensuring customers adopt Axon Air solutions to transform workflows and enhance organizational effectiveness.
Key responsibilities include engaging with agency leaders and drone program managers during pre- and post-sale phases to design and enhance UAS programs. You will conduct needs assessments, provide technical demonstrations, create deployment plans, and guide agencies through test and evaluation engagements. Additionally, you will lead and manage large or complex program implementations, ensuring readiness, compliance with FAA Part 107 regulations, and seamless integration with third-party vendors.
The role requires a BS/BA or equivalent experience, along with 3–5+ years of professional services, technical deployment, or UAS program management experience. FAA Part 107 certification is required, with advanced certifications strongly preferred. Candidates should have advanced expertise in UAS platforms, detection systems, and drone management software. Strong project management, organizational, and consultative skills are essential, as well as excellent communication abilities and the capacity to work independently while mentoring peers and junior team members.
