PSAP Solutions Consultant, Prepared by Axon
The PSAP Solutions Consultant role at Axon is a pivotal position within the Prepared by Axon team, focusing on enhancing emergency communication systems through AI-powered solutions. This role involves collaborating with Account Executives, Regional Sales Managers, and customers to translate complex technical requirements into effective solutions that improve public safety operations.
Key responsibilities include partnering with sales teams to qualify opportunities, conducting in-depth discovery with 911 centers and emergency management agencies, delivering tailored product demonstrations, leading responses to RFPs and RFIs, and translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences. The consultant will also serve as a subject-matter expert on Prepared’s platform architecture, provide configuration guidance, advise on best practices for network security and system interoperability, and stay updated with public safety software trends.
The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in public safety or PSAP operations, with senior-level leadership experience preferred. Experience in selling, implementing, or enabling public safety software is essential, along with a deep understanding of PSAP workflows, operational constraints, and compliance environments. Strong technical fluency across cloud-based platforms, integrations, network infrastructure, and system interoperability is also required.
Axon offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $110,000 to $160,000, depending on geographic market and experience.
