PSAP Solutions Consultant, Prepared by Axon
As a PSAP Solutions Consultant at Axon, you will play a pivotal role in transforming emergency communications by integrating AI-powered solutions into Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs). This position is part of the Prepared by Axon team, which focuses on enhancing 911 services through advanced technology, aiming to bridge the gap between emergency calls and field response, thereby empowering responders with critical information when every second counts.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with Account Executives and Regional Sales Managers to understand customer challenges and design tailored technical solutions. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth discovery sessions with 911 centers, delivering engaging product demonstrations, leading technical workshops, and managing proof-of-concept sessions. Additionally, you will respond to RFPs and RFIs, ensuring that complex technical concepts are translated into clear, benefit-focused explanations for non-technical audiences.
The ideal candidate will have over eight years of progressive experience in public safety, emergency communications, or PSAP operations, with senior-level leadership experience being highly desirable. A strong background in selling, implementing, or enabling public safety software, such as NG911 call handling, CAD, RMS, or emergency communications platforms, is essential. Technical fluency across cloud-based platforms, integrations, APIs, network infrastructure, and data workflows within public safety environments is also required.
Axon offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $160,000 annually, depending on geographic market and experience.
