QA Engineer
Cohere Health is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team, focusing on ensuring the performance, reliability, and compliance of our AI-driven clinical decision support platforms. As a key member of our engineering team, you will collaborate closely with product and clinical teams to develop high-quality software solutions that streamline access to quality care.
In this role, you will develop and maintain quality assurance processes and test strategies to ensure reliable, high-performing software. You will partner with engineering, product, and clinical teams to ensure solutions meet healthcare standards and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will identify, document, and track defects through resolution, working closely with developers to drive timely fixes. Investigating application behavior and troubleshooting issues using logs and monitoring tools such as Kibana will also be part of your responsibilities. Analyzing test results and communicating findings clearly to stakeholders to support informed product decisions is essential. Continuously improving testing processes, tools, and automation practices to increase efficiency and coverage, as well as participating in test case and code reviews, providing feedback that helps improve overall product quality, are key aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Quality Engineer in the healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of healthcare regulations, standards, and compliance requirements. Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and Cypress is essential. Experience contributing to quality assurance or process improvement initiatives, along with the ability to analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and identify root causes, is required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software, as well as the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, are important. Experience working with distributed or offshore engineering teams is a plus. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
This is a fully remote opportunity with about 10% travel. The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $110,000 annually, as part of a total benefits package that includes health insurance, 401K, and bonus.
