As a Quality Inspector II at Axon, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, which are integral to public safety and law enforcement. This position is part of our dedicated Quality Assurance team, committed to upholding the highest standards in product performance and safety. Axon is a leading provider of public safety technologies, including Conducted Electrical Weapons (CEWs), body-worn cameras, and related accessories.

In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating returned products to determine failure modes and root causes. Your day-to-day activities will include performing functional testing, visual inspections, and basic troubleshooting of devices. You will document findings accurately in our quality management systems and collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, and Customer Service teams to resolve product issues. Additionally, you will support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) initiatives, track and report return metrics, and assist in identifying systemic quality issues to recommend process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience, with a strong interest in working within a fast-paced electronics testing environment. Basic software and computer skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint. Experience with ISO standards, inspection standards, and quality concepts is preferred. The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, product specifications, procedures, and standards is crucial. Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as technical report writing abilities, are also required.
