Regional Sales Manager, Prepared by Axon (Southeast Region)
Axon is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand our Account Executive team within the Southeast Region. This role is pivotal in driving our mission to Protect Life by enhancing emergency communications through AI-powered solutions. As part of the Prepared by Axon team, you'll contribute to transforming 911 services and supporting public safety agencies nationwide.
In this position, you will oversee a team of five or more Account Executives, focusing on pipeline generation and sales fundamentals. Your responsibilities include leading, coaching, and developing the team, driving disciplined funnel management, and aligning top-of-funnel strategies with broader go-to-market objectives. Additionally, you'll implement and improve coaching systems, support in-field sales motions, and manage performance improvement plans as needed.
The ideal candidate has proven experience managing mature Account Executives in a high-growth, fast-paced SaaS or tech sales environment. You should be fluent in funnel metrics, deal qualification, and pipeline management, with strong coaching skills to guide reps toward consistent improvement. Comfort with navigating challenging conversations and collaborating across functions is essential.
This field-based role requires up to 50% travel within the assigned territory. Candidates must be based within the Southeast region of the United States. Axon offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $150,000 to $170,000, with an on-target earnings range between $300,000 to $340,000, depending on geographic market.
