Research Engineer - Process Mining Technology
Celonis is seeking a Research Engineer to join its Process Mining Innovation (PMI) team, a dynamic group dedicated to advancing process mining technology. In this position, the Research Engineer will specialize in Object-Centric Process Mining (OCPM), a novel, multidimensional approach shaping the future of process mining. Key responsibilities include translating innovative ideas into functional code, evaluating the performance of developed solutions, and integrating these solutions into the existing product suite. Collaboration with product managers and software engineers is essential to ensure successful deployment to production.
The ideal candidate holds a PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Informatics, or a related field. Hands-on experience with process mining, data analytics, or business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik is required. Proficiency in programming, database management, and ETL processes is essential. Strong communication skills and fluency in English are mandatory, with the ability to work independently and think creatively.
