The Retail Account Manager at Nabis serves as the primary advocate and liaison for retail partners, focusing on strengthening relationships and promoting the adoption of Nabis's services. This role involves a combination of in-person and remote engagement across New York, tailored to meet each retailer's unique needs. The Retail Account Manager collaborates with internal teams to align on retail goals, manage Nabis's suite of retail services, and regularly report on initiative progress. Success in this position is driven by achieving revenue targets, making it ideal for a proactive, organized professional skilled in cross-functional teamwork and solution-focused communication.

Key responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact for assigned retailers at various levels, ensuring efficient operation of core services such as delivery and collections by working closely with Operations, Accounts Receivable, Customer Experience, Business Development, and Engineering teams. The role also involves educating retailers on Nabis's complementary services—including Marketplace, Bill Pay, data analytics, inventory tracking, order scheduling, automated ordering, POS integrations, and central distribution—and strategizing to engage retailers by identifying adoption barriers and collaborating on tool development as needed. Additionally, the Retail Account Manager is responsible for maximizing market opportunities for retailers by connecting them with promotions or sales rules, sourcing RFPs, and identifying brand partnerships.

The ideal candidate must currently reside in New York State and have a background in retail cannabis sales, operations, or related fields, with established, trusted relationships across New York's cannabis retail sector. Strong customer experience expertise, a proven track record in driving revenue with external partners, and exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel and SQL is a plus. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary starting at $68,640, with uncapped bonus potential. Benefits offered to full-time employees include unlimited PTO, paid holidays, competitive salary and equity packages, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan with a match.
