Sales Development Representative
As a Sales Development Representative at Gong, you will be instrumental in generating new business opportunities and contributing to the growth of a world-class sales development organization within a category-defining tech company. Gong leverages AI to transform how revenue teams operate, providing a Revenue AI Operating System that unifies data, insights, and workflows to help over 5,000 companies worldwide understand their teams and customers better, automate critical sales workflows, and close more deals efficiently.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include raising awareness and generating interest in Gong's offerings through proactive outreach methods such as cold calling, emails, and social engagement with prospective customers. You will be tasked with scheduling initial discovery calls for Account Executives, managing your own portfolio of accounts, and developing effective strategies for account management. Additionally, you will become a proficient user of Gong's platform and collaborate with team members to share and learn best practices.
The ideal candidate is located within a commutable distance from San Francisco and can be present in the Gong office three times per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday). A passion for sales or sales leadership, excellent verbal and written communication skills, resilience, a strong work ethic, and a coachable attitude are essential. Previous sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
