The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at KnowBe4 plays a pivotal role in the initial stages of the sales process, focusing on identifying and qualifying potential customers for the company's cybersecurity solutions. Key responsibilities include researching and identifying prospective customers who align with KnowBe4's product offerings, engaging these prospects through outbound prospecting strategies such as email and call campaigns, and responding to inbound leads and inquiries. The SDR collaborates closely with sales and marketing team members to develop strategic sales approaches and maintains accurate records of all lead management activities using and Salesloft.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or relevant experience, with familiarity in IT security concepts considered a plus. Proficiency in Gmail, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office is required, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The role demands strong organizational abilities, a friendly phone demeanor, and a "pleasantly persistent" approach to engaging prospects. Being highly organized and results-oriented is essential for success in this position.

The compensation for this role ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 annually, including base salary, bonuses, and commissions.
