The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at Axon is a pivotal position within our sales team, focusing on outbound prospecting and lead qualification to drive pipeline growth. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include conducting outbound prospecting via cold calls, emails, and social media channels to generate interest in our solutions. You will identify and qualify potential customers based on defined criteria, ensuring they align with our product offerings. Additionally, you will schedule meetings and demos for Account Executives, accurately log and track all activities in CRM tools like HubSpot, and work collaboratively with marketing and sales teams to refine messaging and optimize lead conversion. Staying updated on industry trends and best sales practices will also be essential to improve outreach effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, resilience in handling objections, and proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot are essential. A team-oriented mindset and a passion for sales and relationship-building are also key attributes for success in this role.
