Sales Engineer, Public Sector
As a Sales Engineer at Axon, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and guidance to public safety agencies across Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting impactful technical presentations, leading proof-of-concept engagements, and assisting with RFP/RFI responses. Your day-to-day activities will include collaborating with sales representatives to understand customer needs, designing tailored solutions, and ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation by working closely with professional services and partner networks.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience, and have at least five years of experience in sales engineering, systems engineering, or a related field. A strong understanding of digital video, mobile communications, IP engineering, and network technologies is essential. Additionally, experience with SaaS solutions, on-premise software, and a willingness to travel up to 70% are required.
Axon offers a competitive compensation package, with a base salary range of $159,000 to $194,000 CAD.
