Security & Technology Risk Analyst
Moniepoint Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Security & Technology Risk Analyst to join our Information Security Assurance Team. As Africa’s leading financial ecosystem, Moniepoint serves over 10 million businesses and individuals, processing $22 billion monthly. This role is pivotal in identifying, monitoring, and reporting on security and technology operational risks across our fintech platform, ensuring the highest standards of regulatory compliance and operational resilience.
The Security & Technology Risk Analyst will conduct comprehensive risk assessments across various domains, including cloud, network, infrastructure, product, endpoint, and third-party services. Responsibilities include performing Business Impact Analyses to determine Recovery Time and Point Objectives, maintaining the security risk register, and developing risk treatment plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The analyst will also track and validate the execution of these plans, design quantifiable risk metrics for executive decision-making, and analyze emerging threats and regulatory changes to proactively surface new risks.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Risk Management, Engineering, or a related field, along with over five years of experience in operational risk management, cybersecurity risk, or technology risk assessment. Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies, familiarity with frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework or ISO 27001, and experience in financial services or regulated industries are preferred. Professional certifications like CISM or CRISC are advantageous.
