As a Senior Account Executive at Block (Square), you will be integral to our Outbound Sales Team, focusing on introducing Square's comprehensive ecosystem to small and mid-sized restaurant businesses. This role involves developing and executing outbound sales strategies, collaborating with the Business Development team to build a robust client base, and driving the adoption of Square's solutions among prospective merchants.

Your primary responsibilities will include prospecting, conducting discovery calls, delivering product demonstrations, and crafting tailored solutions that address the unique needs of each merchant. You will manage the entire sales cycle—from initial outreach to closing deals—while maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure successful onboarding and long-term satisfaction. Utilizing Salesforce, you will track sales activities, monitor pipeline status, and report on outcomes, consistently striving to meet and exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators.

Ideal candidates will have over three years of experience in a full-cycle sales role, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals. A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience is required. Strong business development skills, including lead sourcing and acquisition, are essential. The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, coupled with a collaborative team-oriented approach, is crucial. Prior experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is preferred.

Compensation for this role is competitive, with a base salary ranging from $156,200 to $234,200 annually, depending on experience and location. Additional target variable compensation is available.
