Axon is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Strategy & Corporate Development team, a pivotal group responsible for evaluating and executing acquisitions, investments, partnerships, and other strategic initiatives. This team plays a critical role in shaping the company's long-term strategic direction and making informed capital and resource allocation decisions. The Senior Analyst will collaborate closely with Axon's executive team and key product leaders on high-impact projects, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), investments, and other strategic initiatives.

In this role, the Senior Analyst will develop a deep understanding of Axon's existing product offerings, roadmap, competitive landscape, and broader ecosystem constituents. Responsibilities include performing quantitative and qualitative analyses on potential M&A and investment opportunities, such as market analyses and financial modeling. The analyst will partner with executive leadership to formulate and articulate sound and objective theses, determine prioritization for M&A and investment opportunities, and drive end-to-end diligence and execution processes. Additionally, the role involves managing Axon's growing investment portfolio and collaborating with key stakeholders across various departments to ensure thorough diligence and seamless deal execution.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and have over three years of experience at a top-tier investment bank or private equity firm, focusing on M&A, investing, and/or capital raising. A passion for Axon's mission to protect life and make a positive societal impact is essential. The candidate should exhibit high energy with a low ego and a "can-do" attitude. Proven experience in M&A and investment process execution is required, along with expert-level proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and valuation, and advanced PowerPoint skills for presenting to executive audiences. Strong problem-solving abilities, the capacity to quickly grasp software and business technology markets, and excellent communication skills are also necessary.
